The song was played straight through with no overdubs, sequencers, loops, or computer tricks. All of the instrumentation that you here, other than drums, was Michael on guitar. January's Icy Slopes is an amazing display of Two-Hand Tapping technique!

Ryoshi's Dream Through Asian Eyes was originally written and recorded in 1980. The version on Two Too Epic was recorded live in 1989 By Michael Wahl Berardi on guitar, John Benussi on Bass, and David Mark Baker on drums.

January's Icy Slopes

Played live in the studio in 2001 with no overdubs. All instruments except drums are guitar! All two-hand tapping playing a Steinberger GL4T with a Roland GK2 pickup, 'MIDI Guitar', and a Roland GR33 driving numerous rack keyboard modules. The main modules were an E-MU E4 Platinum sampler, a Korg Triton Rack, Korg MS2000R, Roland XV-5080, Roland XV-3050, Roland JP-8080. The clean guitar amps were Mesa Boogies. The drums were Yamaha DT Express.

Ryoshi's Dream Through Asian Eyes was written and recorded in 1980. The song was re-recorded in 1989. The nearly sixteen minute song was done in one take with no overdubs and is the version on the Synthesis album. The guitar was a Steinberger GL4T plugged into a Pearce G2r amp with a little reverb. There were no effect, modules, sequencers, or loops used. The drums were Pearl.
